»Description of Solution

Solution: This is a problem with QuickTime for Java. The standard installation of QuickTime does not include the Java plugin; which is required by MediaBlender to run. To include the QuickTime for Java plugin; please open the QuickTime Player; click Help; and then click Update Existing Software. This will connect to the internet; and download updates for QuickTime. If it does not automatically select to download the Java plugin; please select it from the list of installable items.
